About

Renter Wall Notes is an independent publication about removable wallpaper. We write practical guides for people who rent their home or are decorating on their own for the first time.

What we publish

Our guides cover three things: how to choose and measure peel and stick wallpaper, how renters can reduce the risk to walls and deposits, and how to compare brands using clear criteria. Every guide is meant to be useful on its own, whether or not you ever visit a store.

Who we write for

Our main audience is English-speaking readers in the United States: renters, first-time DIYers and anyone who wants a reversible change to a room. We assume you may not know the terminology yet, so we explain it.

What we do not claim

We do not claim to have bought, installed or tested the products we discuss, and we do not publish ratings, review counts or removal results that we have not verified. Where we describe a brand, we say what kind of source the statement rests on. The details are in our editorial policy.

How the site is funded

We may earn a commission when you buy through some links on this site, at no additional cost to you. Commercial links are not active yet. See the affiliate disclosure.

Who runs it

Renter Wall Notes is run by an independent publisher. We use AI tools to help draft and edit, and a person reviews every article before it is published. Questions and corrections are welcome through the contact page.
